Toad

I like toads, golden eyed and mottled brown skin. This one was ensconced in dry soil under some litter
by the driveway wood storage. Generalists, toads will eat anything moving that can fit in their mouth,
darting out their sticky tongue and using their front legs to help cram in larger food. A gardener's friend,
toads eat a wide variety of insects and other invertebrates, including snails, beetles, slugs, and earthworms.
